T&C - Intensive Residential Driving Course
Important:
Important Terms and Conditions when you book and pay for
an Intensive Residential
Driving Course in Manchester.
To avoid people booking an intensive residential driving
course who aren't really sure if they want one, which would affect
both the livelihood of the allocated driving instructor and the
residential provider these are the following terms and conditions
that you agree to when you pay for an intensive residential driving
course:
- You are booking the instructor’s time in their professional capacity
and the hotel will be reserving your room for you which stops anyone
else booking that room. Once the course and hotel are booked in
and confirmed we are unable to offer a refund.
- A refund would be available for your driving test if you meet
the required notice period as set out by the Driver and Vehicle
Standards Agency
(see https://www.gov.uk/cancel-driving-test).
- If you forget to bring your provisional driving licence your
allocated course instructor would not be able to provide you with
any driving tuition. You would not be entitled to a refund. You
would still be able to use the hotel for the duration of your stay
as previously booked.
- If you normally drive with your glasses on and forget to bring
them with you to Manchester then unfortunately your instructor would
not be able to provide you with any driving tuition. You would not
be entitled to a refund. You would still be able to use the hotel
for the duration of your stay as previously booked.
- If you turn up for training and there are any issues whatsoever
regarding alcohol / drug impairment / aggressive or threatening
behaviour then your instructor will not be able to provide you with
any driving tuition. Your training course would be cancelled there
and then and you would not be entitled to a refund. You would still
be able to use the hotel for the duration of your stay as previously
booked.
- If you are late in the morning e.g. your course starts at 9 am
and you turn up to start at 9.30 am you would loose that amount
of training time by which you were late. If 45 minutes passes and
you are not available for your training course for that day the
instructor would leave the premises. You would forfeit that particular
day of training and not be entitled to a refund. If there are any
issues with being late then please contact your course instructor
to let him / her know.
- Intensive Residential Driving Courses are not designed for beginners
with little or no previous driving experience. If you book a course
with minimal driving experience and it becomes apparent that you
would not be able to reach driving test standard by the day of your
test at the end of the week, your allocated driving instructor reserves
the right to withdraw use of his / her training vehicle for the
purpose of the driving test. If this situation does occur you may
still use up any remaining training hours as practice. You would
not be entitled to a refund. However, a refund would be available
for your driving test fee if you meet the required notice period
as set out by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency
(see https://www.gov.uk/cancel-driving-test).
